Splinter Hash was officially formed on 30th September 2002 at Rabbit’s Entertainment Centre.
No running involved with this Hash.
Just good Food & Wine, Great Company and a little bit of Eye Candy.
The Fine dining Hash meets on the last Friday of the month. We usually go to a BYO Restaurant to partake in gourmet food and a bottle or two of fine wine

I thought I’d got rid of the job and here I am writing in Rabbit’s absence as he claimed he would be too busy catering for this Special Event.
I suppose this was rather a Special Event being the inauguration of a new Hash and partaking in Run #1.
For those not present or up to speed with the concept, this is a Hash formed to run initially when many regular soles have deserted our shores foe Inter Hash.
However after a few reds I think it was decided that the Splinter hash should also run when Nash hash is on for those again unable to attend.
Given the concept and results of Run #1, I think this could catch on.
As for Rules only three:
1. Attending runners to bring a bottle of Red
2. Attending runners to wear Inter Hash or Nash Hash attire
3. Only the best of food and booze to be served
