A smaller than usual group of The Gold Coast Splinter Hash Members enjoyed another fun day out at Costa D’oro.
Nasty not wanting to go home to an empty house encouraged the group to follow him to the Lansdowne Road Irish Bar for a cleansing ale.
The wise ones Sir Botcho and Birthday Boy Exelpet headed for the tram around 4.00pm followed closely by Sir Rabbit and S Bends.
Nasty managed to convince Aussie, Missing Link and Fanny Charmer to stay for just one more or two
After several hours sitting in the bar, Fanny Charmer was in no shape to drive, wisely left his car parked and walked home. As he and the over stayers were walking unsteadily along, they were stopped by a policeman. “What are you doing out here at this hour?”, said the officer. “We are going to a lecture.”, Fanny Charmer said. “And who is going to give a lecture at this hour?”, the cop asked. “My wife!!!” replied Fanny Charmer.
